Why chocolate is good for life
- Chocolate makes your heart sing. Scientists say it helps with the release of serotonin in the body (or something like that). But don't take their word for it. Do your own research: eat chocolate right now and see if it works. (On this occasion we recommend our Happy Bloom – what else?)
- Munching even just a little bit of chocolate suppresses your appetite for other non-delicious, non-adorable foods.
- Chocolate makes you popular: pop a Luxury Chocolate Bloom on your desk at work, and EVERYONE will be your best friend.
- It's the perfect pick-me-up. When you're exhausted and laid out on the couch at the end of a long day, chocolate is your friend. You know what we mean.
- It's cost-effective. “I bought a Jeep” might be a very exciting thing to mutter when your other half gets home from work, but in reality “I bought chocolate” probably falls slightly more within most budgets. Their smile will be just big, too – promise!
- Some experts say that chocolate, particularly dark chocolate, is good for blood circulation and might help to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Don’t believe us? Google it!
- It's a lovely way to reward ourselves! Sometimes, we're so busy stressing about what’s next on the to-do list, we forget to think about everything we’ve already achieved. Give yourself (or your team) a pat on the back with one of our Rose Garden blooms, and we’ll have you smelling the roses in no time.
- It keeps the love alive. Remember the good old days when you watched TV while sprawled together on the couch? If you both sit boringly on your own side of the lounge these days, add chocolate to the equation. Guaranteed to lead to snuggling (and who knows where that might lead!)
- It's a peacemaker. Nothing says sorry like one of our With Love bouquets. If you're in the dog house, this will bring back the puppy love.
- Chocolate is a balanced diet: dairy from the milk, vegetables from the cacao and if you use it to coat strawberries like in our divine Aloha Indulgence Blooms, you get fruit too! (OK – so this might be stretching the truth a little. Eat chocolate responsibly!)
