The key to great table decor is to find a balance between functionality and appearance. It is best to start with a theme and a centrepiece idea, to help create interest for your onlookers.
A perfect centrepiece idea is something from the garden. Weather this is succulents, lush green foliage, cut flowers or twisted willow, a splash of plant life really is the finishing touch to a beautifully styled table setting.
Remember though, you don’t always have to follow the rules. Have some fun decorating for your next dinner party, creative chaos can look just as good as a carefully planned setting.
