Does Edible Blooms offer same-day delivery?
Yes. Edible Blooms offers same-day delivery across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast, Wollongong, McLaren Vale, and the Fleurieu Peninsula. Orders must be placed before the daily cutoff time to qualify. Same-day delivery is available Monday to Saturday.
What time do I need to order by for same-day delivery?
Orders must be placed before 3:00pm Monday to Friday, or before 12:00pm Saturday, to qualify for same-day delivery. Orders placed after these cutoff times will be dispatched for the next available delivery day. We recommend ordering as early as possible during busy periods such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
Is same-day delivery free?
Same-day delivery is free on orders over $150, provided you order before 3:00pm Monday to Friday. For orders under $150, a delivery fee applies. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location.
Which cities does Edible Blooms deliver to on the same day?
Edible Blooms offers same-day delivery in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast, Wollongong, McLaren Vale, and the Fleurieu Peninsula. Standard delivery (1–3 business days) is available to all other Australian addresses, including regional areas.
What is date-guaranteed delivery and how is it different from standard same-day?
Date-guaranteed delivery means Edible Blooms guarantees your gift will arrive on the exact date you request, it's our promise. This service is available for inner and outer metro areas within 25km of the CBD in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Standard same-day delivery has a high on-time track record but does not carry a 100% guarantee.
What time will my gift arrive?
For date-guaranteed same-day delivery, residential gifts can arrive up until 9:00pm and business deliveries arrive before 5:00pm. For standard delivery, residential gifts can arrive up until 7:00pm. If timing is critical, we recommend sending to a workplace for a more reliable delivery window.
Can I get same-day delivery for chocolate bouquets?
Yes. Chocolate bouquets are available for same-day delivery in all cities where Edible Blooms offers same-day service. Simply select same-day delivery at checkout and choose today's date. Orders must be placed before the cutoff time (3:00pm Monday to Friday, 12:00pm Saturday).
Are gift hampers and dessert boxes available for same-day delivery?
Yes. Most gift hampers and dessert boxes are available for same-day delivery. Products eligible for same-day delivery are clearly marked on the product page. A small number of items such as perishable fruit, donuts, and cakes can only be sent via same-day or date-guaranteed delivery to ensure they arrive fresh.
What happens if no one is home when my gift is delivered?
In most cases, your Edible Blooms driver will leave the gift in a safe location on the premises. If the driver cannot safely leave the gift or cannot access the property, the gift will be returned and a redelivery fee will apply. To avoid this, we recommend sending gifts to a workplace or providing a safe delivery authority at checkout.
Can I send a gift to a hospital or workplace for same-day delivery?
Yes. Edible Blooms regularly delivers to hospitals, offices, and workplaces. Business deliveries with same-day or date-guaranteed service arrive before 5:00pm. When delivering to a hospital or large building, include the recipient's floor or ward number in the delivery notes to help your driver.
Can I add a personalised message to a same-day delivery?
Yes. You can add a personalised message card to any Edible Blooms order at no extra charge. This is done at checkout. For an extra-special touch, you can also add a foil-printed ribbon with your message or a swing tag featuring a personal photo or corporate logo, available on selected products.
